Reading List

I decided that I would keep track of the books I'm reading. Maybe it will offer up suggestions for anyone who thinks they may have the same taste as me... or recommendations. I've started with what I was reading at the end of 2011. I'll keep the most recent at the top. Please feel free to leave your comments at the bottom!!

READING...
Handle With Care ... good old Jodi Picoult. Gonna love this one I know.

READ (or tried to)...
Prisoner of Tehran ... VERY interesting. Touched me on a personal level because my best & closest childhood friend & her family immigrated from Tehran in the very early 80s, which is when the (true) story took place. I would love to sit & chat with her mother to know more about what it was like for her to live there during the revolution. Very scary. I really enjoyed the read.
The Memory Keepers Daughter ... Still haven't finished it.... just got side tracked with my pregnancy & haven't gone back to it. I will though.
The Help ... Fabulous! But I feel like it was left with so much more than could be told. I would totally read a sequel. I can't wait to see the movie.
Room ... mixed emotions on this one
The Birth House ... fabulous! & an appropriate read for someone about to give birth at home!
The Gargoyle  ... didn't finish it... just couldn't keep my interest.

The Hunger Games trilogy was REALLY good... especially for teen fiction. Imagine if it was written for adults!
Mockingjay (book 3)
Catching Fire (book 2 in the hunger games)
The Hunger Games .... FABULOUS.

House Rules ... Jodi Picoult ALWAYS means a good read. I've read quite a few of her books and they NEVER disappoint.
